Job Description
Waymo is an autonomous driving technology company focused on building and improving its Waymo Driver – the world's most experienced driver – to increase access to mobility and save lives. The Incident Response Manager will lead cross-functional incidents, orchestrate response efforts, and coordinate stakeholders to resolve events. This role involves leading incident escalation, developing partnerships, driving continuous improvement, and delivering executive communications.
Requirements
5+ years of direct experience in incident management
Proven technical expertise in complex engineering systems
Demonstrated ability to remain calm and decisive
Experience briefing senior executives on complex incidents
Exceptional attention to detail and documentation
Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
