Job Description
The Industrial Commission, Akron Regional Office, is seeking experienced licensed attorneys to work as Industrial Commission District Hearing Officers. The role involves conducting hearings, issuing orders, and making decisions on workers' compensation claims. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, be able to handle a high volume of work, and be willing to follow policies and procedures. Travel to IC offices and efficient time management are also required.

Requirements

  • Admission to Ohio Bar pursuant to Section 4121.34 ORC
  • Experience with Ohio workers' compensation
  • Customer-focused and able to professionally handle a high volume of work
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures
  • Ability to travel to OIC offices and manage time efficiently
