Role OverviewThe Industrial Commission, Portsmouth District Office, is seeking experienced licensed attorneys to serve as Hearing Officers. They will conduct hearings in person and online, manage their own caseload, and write decisions for all hearings. The role involves preparing for, conducting, and issuing orders from administrative hearings on Workers' Compensation claims.
What You Will Do
Hearing Officers will hear claims on issues such as allowance, payment of compensation, payment of medical bills, and determination of percentage of permanent partial disability. They will also perform legal research, participate in depositions, and complete miscellaneous assignments.

Requirements
- Admission to Ohio Bar pursuant to Section 4121.34 ORC
