Role OverviewThe Industrial Controls Technician II position will be responsible to perform repair and general preventative maintenance on all production and facility equipment for all divisions within the Appleton, WI area.
What You Will Do
Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of production and facility equipment, repair malfunctioning production equipment/machinery, and troubleshoot AC/DC/VFD/servo motors, motor controllers, PLC’s, and rewire/identify/replace failed components.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The individual requires a strong troubleshooting background and PLC programming knowledge, with experience in Allen Bradley RSLogix 500, RS Logix5000, and Factory Talk View.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- An associate degree in Automated Manufacturing or Electro-Mechanical or Industrial Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent
- 5 + years of relevant maintenance experience
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Excellent problem-solving capability
- Physically able to kneel, climb ladders, lift 50 lbs, use forklift, and work from elevated platforms
- Ability to work overtime and be “on call”
- Valid Driver’s License
