Job Description
West Liberty Foods manufactures hundreds of meat and poultry products. We are currently hiring for an Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. The Electrician will support operations by maintaining the operation of machinery and equipment and troubleshooting to keep production running.

Requirements

  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring and equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot systems, components, and equipment to correct problems.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and need for adjustments or repairs to ensure compliance with codes.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
  • Reading and understanding mechanical and electrical diagrams and technical repair manuals.
  • Operate lifts and material handling tools as needed.
  • Able to adapt to a fast pace work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
