What You Will Do

Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment, hand tools and personal knowledge to determine root cause. Exercise judgement when troubleshooting AC/DC motor controls, PLC, electrical drives, and all high voltage systems, keeping them all up to the site voltage maximums.

Requirements

  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in heights for extended periods of time
  • Ability to think logically, analytically and solve problems
  • AC/DC troubleshooting experience required
  • Electrical controls maintenance and repair proficiency
  • Knowledge of the melting, casting and rolling process and related equipment preferred
  • MRO system; SAP system experience preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • NFPA 70E requirements preferred
  • Siemens and/or other PLC troubleshooting experience preferred
  • Strong multitasking abilities
  • Thorough understanding of electrical safe work practices
  • Work rotating shifts which include weekends and holidays
