Role OverviewIMA is seeking an experienced Commercial / Industrial Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal applicant will have a minimum of 3 years working in an Industrial / Commercial setting.
What You Will Do
Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components, perform all work in a manner that meets and follows NEC electrical codes, blueprints, and standards.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal applicant will have a minimum of 3 years working in an Industrial / Commercial setting, be familiar with running feeders, pulling cable, bending conduit, and have experience with NEC codes / guidelines.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of Commercial / Industrial electrical experience
- Valid driver's license in state of practice and no more than two violations within the last 3 years
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel
- Comfortable reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
- Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment
- Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical work
- Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems
- Willing to work overtime
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Clean criminal background
