Role OverviewTextron Aviation is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join their team in Kansas. The successful candidate will have a balance of technical expertise in data/metric analysis and a strategic drive to create customer value through process improvements, cost reduction, and product improvement. The role requires daily interaction with all levels of the organization and involves providing timely and relevant metrics to VSM and Director.
What You Will Do
Key responsibilities include analyzing production flow issues, creating and automating delivery of KPIs, developing learning curves, and making process improvement recommendations. The successful candidate will also gather, analyze, and summarize production process data, utilize Lean/CI methodologies to lead and implement improvements, and drive development and/or installation of direct and indirect labor standards and methods.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relative field
- Minimum 2 years of required experience in industrial, manufacturing, or relative engineering field

- Independently identify and lead significant impact projects and programs
- Demonstrated analytical and practical problem solving/process improvement experience
