Job Description
Abbott is seeking an Industrial Engineering Manager/OpEx Manager to join their Electrophysiology Medical Device Division. The role will focus on improving manufacturing performance and reducing operational cost through operational excellence and industrial engineering. The position will be part of a global team and require regular travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 8 years overall operations experience
  • Proven track record delivering step-change line performance improvements with quantified results
  • Deep hands-on expertise in Lean, DMAIC, and Six Sigma methodologies. Black belt certification preferred but not required
  • Strong KPI-driven, data-centric problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to influence senior leaders without direct authority
  • Ability to organize and lead cross functional teams and align team members to management's vision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to effectively lead in a team environment, adaptable to change, able to manage competing priorities, excellent analytical and problem solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and sense of business savvy
