Role OverviewThe Industrial Hygiene Manager will support ongoing sustainability, compliance, and risk reduction efforts at the Andover, MA site. This complex manufacturing site offers the EHS professional an opportunity to work with manufacturing and support teams to foster employee engagement, and drive risk reduction and continuous improvement of the EH&S program.
What You Will Do
Develop and maintain site-wide IH plans, exposure control strategies, and routine monitoring programs. Conduct chemical approvals, industrial hygiene assessments including air sampling, noise monitoring, and ventilation evaluations.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have experience in Industrial Hygiene and exposure monitoring, and be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience
- Experience in Industrial Hygiene and exposure monitoring
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) (current or in progress)
- Experience with IH data management tools and statistical analysis
- Experience with gas detection systems
- Emergency response experience (working with team to respond to and help troubleshoot alarms)
- Experience in managing EH&S issues in a union work environment
- Experience with Semi-Conductor Fabrication operations
- Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
