Job Description
The Mechanic III is a senior-level role responsible for the advanced repair, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance of complex industrial laundry systems and facility equipment. The role includes leading maintenance projects, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring maximum equipment uptime and performance.

Requirements

  • Lead and model adherence to all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations
  • Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on industrial laundry machinery and systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation issues
  • Program, troubleshoot, and repair PLCs, VFDs, and control panel components
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and implement long-term reliability solutions
  • Optimize and improve preventive maintenance procedures and documentation
  • Manage or lead capital improvement projects and equipment installations
  • Assist with parts sourcing, inventory planning, and vendor coordination
  • Mentor and train Maintenance Technicians I and II
  • Support the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager in planning and shift leadership
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records of maintenance activities in CMMS
