As a mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets, while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • At least one year of mechanic work experience with one or a combination of employers or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program
  • At least six months of continuous employment with one employer in the past two years
  • Ability to read manuals to repair equipment safely and to follow all safety protocols
  • Ability to record information using company-provided forms and procedures
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hat, safety glasses, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net / beard guard, steel-toed boots, and gloves
