Job Description
Work under the direction of a Journeyperson or Foreman to gain skills in industrial maintenance, turnaround, construction, or mechanical environments as an apprentice.

Requirements

  • Ability to learn how to assemble and disassemble refinery equipment.
  • Perform duties within a precise limit or standard of accuracy (Quality Control).
  • Gain the knowledge to work from drawings and blueprints.
  • Ability to learn how to run several types of equipment (forklifts, manlifts, etc.).
  • Must be able to perform Turnaround duties when required.
  • Must be able to complete work assignments under the close supervision of a journeyperson.
  • Ability to learn how to select the proper tools and equipment to complete a job.
  • Must work well with supervision.
  • Perform other responsibilities as required or assigned.
  • Will be required to attend apprenticeship classes for the duration of the apprenticeship.
