Role OverviewAs an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic at CMC, you'll be part of a team that supports the construction reinforcement and steel industries. You'll work in a manufacturing environment, troubleshooting technical obstacles, and participating in the CMC Safety Programs. You'll have opportunities to learn and grow in your career, with training and support from your team.
What You Will Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include diagnosing malfunctioning systems, using SAP maintenance module, and interpreting blueprints and schematics. You'll also be responsible for monitoring and inspecting equipment, preparing mechanical maintenance reports, and leading department start-up and shut-down activities.

Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in heights for extended periods of time in extreme temperatures
- Ability to utilize precision measurement instruments
- Ability to work rotating shifts which include weekends and holidays
- Experience with welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment maintenance preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience with welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment maintenance preferred
- Minimum 5 years of field experience in either heavy industrial operations and/or manufacturing environment required
- Advanced experience with pumps, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, and rigging/heavy-load calculations.
- Ability to read hydraulic schematics, troubleshoot hydraulic systems, and diagnose pressure-related issues.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Positive attitude with strong communication skills and willingness to support team and shift coverage needs.
- Ability to work rotating shifts (nights, weekends, holidays).
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, bending, and working at heights in extreme temperatures.
