Role OverviewThe Interco Maintenance Technician performs general facility maintenance and repairs to the interior and exterior of the buildings. Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing the fixtures, appliances, and equipment as well as the setup, installation, and maintenance of company production equipment and machinery.
What You Will Do
Perform preventative and repair maintenance on machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe, and electrical systems, dismantle, install, test, and troubleshoot machinery and equipment, and maintain work area in safe, neat, and orderly condition.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Ability to conduct minor repairs on forklifts, bobcats and excavators, ability to read, understand, and speak English, and knowledge of single and 3 phase electricity up to 480 volts.
Requirements
- Completion of Industrial Maintenance or other relevant course, or 5 years minimum equivalent experience
- Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics and diagrams
- Ability to operate hand and power tools to include grinders, saws, drills, etc.
- Ability to accept direction, and communicate clearly with supervisors, peers, and other employees
