Role OverviewPerform maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of facility industrial systems such as mechanical, plumbing, and fire life safety systems. Assist other trades and workers with all phases of facility maintenance.
What You Will Do
Install, maintain, and repair industrial/mechanical systems, including motors, drainage pumps, exhaust/supply fans, ventilation fans, valves/piping for fire main systems, drainage pipes, water supply, and gravity systems.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Requires employee to stoop, bend, reach, work from ladders, work at various heights utilizing ladders, boom lifts, etc, climb stairs, erect and work on scaffolding, platforms, open grating and lift up to a maximum of 65 lbs.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent (GED)
- Relevant maintenance certifications
- At least 8 years of skilled facilities maintenance experience (i.e. plumbing, pipefitting, and troubleshooting)
- Strong pipe fitting background required
- Experience in piping, valve replacement, backflow preventers, and plumbing
