Requirements

  • Without assistance, perform intermediate preventative maintenance on industrial electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic machines/equipment
  • Must be able to operate, troubleshoot, and repair PLC based systems
  • Move heavy machine parts with the aid of hoists or rollers
  • Participates within in Total Quality Management projects to achieve improvements
  • Troubleshoot basic electrical problems (480V 3 phase) on a variety of machinery
  • Performs related paperwork
  • Effectively interpret schematics and diagrams to analyze and troubleshoot problems for products.
  • Maintains clean work area
  • Ensure adherence to all process specifications.
  • Communication with plant and company management regarding scheduling and repair status.
  • Inspects and checks work prior to turning machinery back to users, assuring that all safety factors have been attended to in compliance with applicable safety regulations.
  • Participates in maintenance projects to achieve improvements.
  • Report any equipment or facility defect(s) to supervisor.
  • May work different shift or overtime
  • Support the Plant quality system goals / improvements & productivity goals / improvements within the scope of the job.
  • Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the department manager.
