Job Description
The Wastewater Treatment Mechanic performs skilled mechanical work in support of an Advanced Water Purification Facility (AWPF). This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, overhaul, repair, and testing of mechanical equipment and systems used by the AWPF.

Requirements

  • Completion of a Recognized mechanical apprenticeship program or documented journey-level mechanical maintenance experience
  • Demonstrated full-time experience performing industrial mechanical maintenance troubleshooting work involving rotating equipment in a wastewater treatment, water treatment, industrial process, or similar facility.
  • Six to ten (6–10) years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience in advanced wastewater purification, water reuse, or high purity industrial process facilities
