Role OverviewSchaeffler is seeking Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (IMM) Apprentices to join its Connecticut Registered Apprenticeship Program in support of aerospace manufacturing operations. This role combines paid on-the-job learning (OJL) with related technical instruction (RTI) to develop the skills required for a career in advanced industrial maintenance within a highly regulated aerospace environment.
What You Will Do
Perform maintenance tasks under the direction of a qualified mentor, conduct routine, corrective, and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
