Job Description
At HDR, we're seeking a Senior Project Architect to lead teams of architects, planners, designers, engineers, technical experts, and project managers to solve complex design challenges. As a key member of our industrial architecture team, you'll partner with project managers to lead the planning, design, documentation, and construction administration of multiple building types, from high-performance data centers to water treatment facilities.

Requirements

  • Technical design concepts, code applications, design management skills, digital technologies, and design workflows for industrial-type facilities
  • Leading owner/client and internal meetings, and participating in reviews with governing agencies for code compliance
  • Managing and undertaking design activities and the production of detailed documents required for construction
  • Coordinating the work of a multidisciplinary team through all phases of a project
  • Reviewing architectural documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines
  • Performing QA/QC and cross discipline technical reviews
  • Writing and editing architectural specifications
  • Coordinating with and assisting affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs and change orders
  • Providing construction observation and contract administration as needed
