Role OverviewThe Industrial & Systems Engineer provides engineering and technical support to help achieve operational goals through the continuous improvement of equipment, materials, processes, and manufacturing practices.

Conduct data analysis, develop and implement efficient workflows, optimize warehouse operations, and lead lean initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or technical school
- Four (4+) years of experience in a manufacturing production control environment utilizing a modern ERP system
- Strong ERP systems experience; SAP highly preferred
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Experience conducting statistical data analysis using tools such as Excel, R Programming/Python, and Power BI preferred
- Experience with Value Stream Mapping, facility layout and planning, Lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies preferred
- Experience utilizing AutoCAD or equivalent software for facility layout and planning preferred
- Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt training/certification preferred
- Experience with capacity analysis techniques and discrete event simulation tools such as Python for operational modeling and optimization preferred
- Experience with engineering documentation processes, including ECO procedures, BOMs, Item Masters, and documentation filing systems preferred
- Experience preparing technical documentation, including engineering test protocols, engineering test reports, and manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures preferred
- Knowledge of engineering methodologies related to manufacturing stainless steel, high-vacuum chambers, and components preferred
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Project or similar project management software preferred
- Experience applying structured problem-solving methodologies such as DMAIC, 8D, and PDCA preferred
