Role OverviewThe Infection Prevention Manager directs and coordinates the infection control program at DMC Harper University/Hutzel Women's Hospital. This role ensures the IP program complies with professional, state, federal, and regulatory standards to reduce or eliminate the spread of infections. The manager is responsible for program planning, policy development, data collection, reporting, education, regulatory compliance, and budget planning.
What You Will Do
The manager will implement and enforce infection prevention policies, coordinate all infection control activities, and monitor the effectiveness of prevention interventions. Responsibilities include managing the department and staff, conducting surveillance activities, and providing education to staff, patients, and visitors.
