What You Will Do
Identify, investigate, monitor, and report trends in healthcare-associated infections to support timely intervention and prevention strategies. Collaborate with facility leadership, clinical teams, and staff to implement and sustain effective infection prevention and control practices.
Why It Might Be a Fit
We are looking for a nurse with strong clinical knowledge and analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends and implement corrective actions. Certification in Infection Control and Epidemiology (CIC) is preferred.
Requirements
- Current nursing license in good standing in the state of New Jersey
- Valid BLS Certification (CPR)
- Associate degree in Nursing, Public Health, Epidemiology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or related field
- Completion of specialized training in infection prevention and control
- Certification in Infection Control and Epidemiology (CIC) preferred
