Job Description
The Ohio Department of Health is seeking an Infectious Disease Control Consultant to provide technical assistance and consultation on HIV infection control matters. The consultant will work with local communities, providers, and health care professionals to reduce the transmission of HIV and provide updates on current treatment standards.
Requirements
Current and valid license to practice professional nursing as Registered Nurse in Ohio
24 months of experience as Registered Nurse practicing in infection control in a population/community based setting
Planning, implementation and evaluation of infection prevention and control measures
Education of individuals about infection risk, prevention and control
Development and revision of infection control policies and procedures
