Information Security Analyst SR

As an Information Security Analyst Senior with GDIT, you'll be responsible for coordinating the scanning and identification of vulnerabilities associated with hosts connected to the network. You'll maintain all tools used in the scanning and identification of vulnerabilities, as well as the tools used to rationalize, consolidate, and apply additional contextual information. You'll also maintain a cooperative relationship with Engineering and Operations teams to drive remediation efforts.

What You Will Do

Your responsibilities will include managing system vulnerabilities in accordance with security requirements, analyzing vulnerability data, and assisting with the prioritization and remediation of identified vulnerabilities. You'll also update and develop security standards and templates as required to meet new regulatory/audit/etc. requirements and guidance.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a strong understanding of security controls, security policies, and security standards. You'll also need to be familiar with maintaining and operating Trellix ENS and Tenable Security Center scans, as well as SQL server. Experience with virtual environments and applying patches/updates and STIGs is also a plus.

Requirements

• BA/BS and 3+ years of experience
• Experience and training with Microsoft Server 2016/2019 or newer
• Experience and training with virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)
• Familiar with maintaining and operating Trellix ENS and Tenable Security Center scans
• Familiar with maintaining and operating SQL server
• Experienced in applying patches/updates and STIGs
• Possess and maintain a minimum of IAM level III certification IAW the DoW directive 8140.01Cyberspace Workforce Management
