Role OverviewThe ISSO is responsible for ensuring the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for an information system. The position requires detailed knowledge and expertise to manage the security aspects of an information system, including physical and environmental protection, personnel security, incident handling, and security training and awareness.
What You Will Do
Assist the ISSM in meeting their duties and responsibilities, prepare and review authorization packages, and conduct periodic reviews of information systems to ensure compliance with the security authorization package.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of related experience, prior performance in roles such as System, Network Administrator or ISSO, and a current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
Requirements
- 2-5 years related experience
- Prior performance in roles such as System, Network Administrator or ISSO
- Bachelor's degree in a related area OR Associate's degree in a related area + 2 years' experience OR equivalent experience (4 years)
- Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
- Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
- Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph
- Expert knowledge of DoD, National and applicable service and agency security policy, manuals and standards
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel and industry partners
