Role OverviewThe Ohio Department of Taxation is seeking an Information Technologist 2 to join the Information Technology Division - Production Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling, executing, and monitoring batch jobs, as well as providing technical support and resolving issues.
What You Will Do
The Information Technologist 2 will schedule and execute batch jobs, create daily documentation, and communicate results. They will also detect and resolve incidents, escalate critical issues, and coordinate with technical teams.

Requirements
- 18 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: computers and/or telecommunications software/hardware, applications, support products, projects or databases for small scale systems or programs
- 12 mos. combined work experience as specified by the agency position description & job posting
- completion of associate core program in computer science or information systems
- equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment
