Job Description
The State of Connecticut, Office of the State Comptroller is seeking an Information Technology Analyst Trainee to support the Core-CT Technology section. The Information Technology Analyst Trainee Program is a structured developmental program designed to prepare people to qualify for the target class of Information Technology Analyst 1.

Requirements

  • Problem-solving skills using research, creativity, and troubleshooting tools to resolve routine technical issues.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, user-friendly way to a variety of audiences.
  • Interest in learning new technologies and applying them in real-world IT environments.
  • Foundational experience or coursework in programming or scripting (e.g., SQL, Python, Java, PowerShell) and exposure to database concepts (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) or data analysis tools.
