Job Description
The Babcock & Wilcox Company is seeking an Intern/Co-op to join their Information Technology (IT) team for a Summer 2026 position. The selected candidate will work full-time (40 hours/week) and assist with generating reports, investigating tools, and developing software under the guidance of the Sr. Engineering and PLM Solution Architect Manager.

Requirements

  • Generate reports based on data stored within SharePoint lists via Excel, PowerBI, or other tools
  • Investigate tools that can be used to create a dashboard based on SharePoint data
  • Assisting the development manager with all aspects of software design and coding
  • Ability to work under direction and cooperatively in a virtual environment
  • Basic programming experience
  • Knowledge of basic coding languages including C#/Java/Python
  • Basic understanding of HTML5, and JavaScript
  • Good working knowledge of email systems and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to demonstrate how to query and write data to a relational database
  • Ability to provide an example of software written in the programming language of candidate's choice
  • Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
  • Knowledge of Power Automate Flows
  • Working experience in VBA Excel Macro
  • Knowledge of Web-Service and Service Oriented Architecture
  • Basic understanding of Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
