Role OverviewThe Information Technology Specialist I will be responsible for Help Desk functions for computers, email, Internet access, applications, printers, copiers, scanning services, phones, audio/visual equipment, and other computer related hardware and software.
What You Will Do
Troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques, maintaining computers and peripheral equipment connected to Eddy County’s diverse network.

Must possess a valid NM driver’s license and be insurable, with no DWI convictions and no more than two moving violations in the past three years; no illegal drug use within the past three years; the ability to understand and communicate in English, verbally and in writing.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- two years of experience with computer systems troubleshooting
- four years of experience with Windows platforms
- valid NM driver’s license and be insurable
- no DWI convictions and no more than two moving violations in the past three years
- no illegal drug use within the past three years
- ability to understand and communicate in English, verbally and in writing
