Job Description
Role Overview

Manages the efforts of Information Technology staff in the development of new IT projects & in the support of existing IT large &/or complex systems. Leads multiple projects & coordinates technological resources in the analysis, design, & delivery of IT engagements. Analyzes user needs & existing functions for proposed projects & maintenance activities. Provides technical assistance to management, users & vendors to determine specific needs to develop programs & systems. Coordinates & collaborates with management, project managers & other IT personnel on development & delivery of applications.

Requirements

  • 7 1/2 years of experience commensurate with job duties to be performed & knowledges & skills required as outlined in approved position description on file for position to be filled as advertised in job posting
  • 12 months of experience in performing project management functions as defined in series purpose
  • Completion of undergraduate core coursework in computer science, or completion of undergraduate core coursework in any academic major which included at least one course in each of the following: advanced-level computer programming language, logic-based mathematics, data base concepts, computer systems analysis & design, & basic data processing concepts
  • Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above
