Role OverviewThe Informational Client Communication Specialist serves as an agency contact for incoming calls and emails, providing assistance to clients with regard to fuel assistance programs, energy conservation programs, and other available resources. The role involves scheduling intake appointments, counseling clients, and referring them to volunteer agencies or other resources as needed.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include gathering information to determine client needs, counseling clients, providing information on available resources, and referring clients to volunteer agencies or other resources. The Specialist will also work closely with the Receptionist to maintain appointment logs and provide proper notification of any appointment scheduled due to an emergency situation.

Requirements
- Must pass a criminal background check and other required clearances
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required
- Must possess excellent telephone communication skills
- Must be able to effectively and respectfully communicate with all callers
- Must be computer literate and able to work productively in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service experience required
- Bi-lingual candidates encouraged to apply
