Job Description
Digital Consultants is seeking an Infrastructure Operations Manager to support a government customer. The Infrastructure Operations Manager provides leadership and oversight of all enterprise IT infrastructure operations, spanning data centers, networks, servers, storage, and cloud services.

Requirements

  • Lead daily operations of enterprise IT infrastructure, ensuring availability, stability, and security.
  • Manage and mentor technical personnel across multiple IT disciplines.
  • Oversee lifecycle management for infrastructure components, including patching, upgrades, and refresh.
  • Drive cost savings and performance improvements through cloud optimization and proactive system monitoring.
  • Ensure adherence to DoD and agency cybersecurity requirements (IAT Level II baseline).
  • Develop and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and configuration baselines.
  • Plan and coordinate disaster recovery and continuity of operations.
  • Monitor and report on infrastructure performance metrics and SLA compliance.
  • Collaborate with Cloud Architects, Network Engineers, and Service Desk Leads to address escalated issues.
  • Support modernization initiatives and migration of systems to hybrid cloud environments.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for infrastructure operations with government leadership and stakeholders.
