Job Description
The Data Center Infrastructure Operations Specialist supports Bloomberg’s Network Engineering Operations Group, managing global colocation and Node Site infrastructure environments. This role focuses on operational execution, infrastructure lifecycle management, capacity allocation, database accuracy, and incident response to ensure scalable, reliable, and efficient data center operations worldwide.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of data center or infrastructure operations experience
  • Strong knowledge of rack infrastructure, structured cabling, and power systems (UPS, ATS, AC/DC)
  • Experience with capacity management, circuit lifecycle coordination, and asset tracking
  • Familiarity with ticketing and incident management processes
  • Basic project management skills, including task tracking, timeline coordination, risk identification, and stakeholder communication
