Role OverviewThe Ohio Department of Insurance (ODI) is seeking an Infrastructure Specialist 1 to perform desktop support, troubleshoot IT issues, and maintain security compliance across all software and hardware assets. The successful candidate will work independently and interface with other platforms from both hardware and software perspectives. The role requires a self-motivated individual who can perform well under pressure and respond efficiently to time-sensitive issues.
What You Will Do
Key responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving IT issues, diagnosing and analyzing technical issues, installing, maintaining, configuring, upgrading, and administering hardware and software, and collaborating with the security team to maintain security compliance.

The successful candidate will have 36 months of combined work experience in installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, and/or administering/operating a single technology domain, including 12 months of work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work under pressure, and respond efficiently to time-sensitive issues.
Requirements

- completion of associate core program in computer science or information systems
- completion of undergraduate core program in computer science or information systems
