Job Description
The Infusion Nurse must be knowledgeable of standard oncology care practices, advocating for patient safety and protocol integrity, and communicating effectively to ensure effective conduct of clinical trials and quality patient care. This part-time role primarily on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday requires the nurse to be knowledgeable of age-specific differences in the patient population, assess and monitor therapy of patients, and maintain efficient and appropriate patient flow.

Requirements

  • Current BLS/ACLS
  • Current Texas Registered Nursing License
  • OCN preferred
  • IV and venous access device management skills
  • Chemotherapy/Biotherapy administration experience
