Job Description
Role Overview

The Infusion RN will work under general supervision to assist oncology patients, families, and caregivers to overcome healthcare barriers. The role involves conducting ongoing assessments of need and facilitating referrals throughout the Oncology continuum of care. The RN will provide education and resources to facilitate informed decision making by the patient and/or family.

What You Will Do

The Infusion RN will assess and document patient health status, communicate relevant health status data to team members, and develop a plan of care. The RN will also identify and implement nursing interventions, collaborate with the healthcare team, and evaluate implemented interventions.

This role requires 1 year of nursing experience and a current Texas nursing license. The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program
  • 1 year of nursing experience
  • Current Texas (or BNE Compact State) nursing license
  • (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT Certification course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
