Role Overview

As an Injury Adjuster Apprentice, you will be prepared to handle auto bodily injury claims with confidence and care. Through a combination of formal training, hands-on experience, and mentorship, you’ll develop the technical expertise and decision-making skills needed to support members during some of life’s most challenging moments.

What You Will Do

Investigate, evaluate, and resolve auto bodily injury claims while delivering a high level of member service, communicate with members, claimants, attorneys, and third parties to gather facts and provide updates, analyze coverage, assess liability, and evaluate damages including medical injuries.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Business, criminal justice, prelaw, or health related degree, experience in insurance, financial services, or customer-facing roles, exposure to legal, medical, or claims-related environments, interest in negotiation, investigation, or conflict resolution, US military experience gained through military service or gained as a military spouse / domestic partner.

Requirements

  • pursuing a Bachelor's degree with an anticipated graduation date of December 2026, or have a completed a Bachelor's degree
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to navigate sensitive conversations
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions and solve problems
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Customer-focused mindset with empathy and professionalism
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required insurance adjuster license
