Role OverviewAssist in the administration and management of the tooling process, working with cutting dies and print plates. Ensure all production demands are fulfilled as a first priority. Work alongside operators, perform daily checks, and assist with repairs.
What You Will Do
Perform daily checks on red tagged tooling, pre/post inspect cutting dies, and assist with repairs. Pull and put away cutting dies, inspect and stage printing plates, and coordinate repairs. Order tooling and supplies when needed.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be able to work well independently, lift up to 75lbs, and work on special projects as assigned by management. Prior work experience in the corrugated industry is preferred.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior work experience in the corrugated industry (preferred)
- Lift Truck Operator License and/or other appropriate certification (may be required)
- Ability to read and follow instructions on factory masters
- Ability to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume, and rate
