Role OverviewUnder minimal to no supervision, provide intermediate level color matching, formulating, and small batch blending support on-site at our customer location. Produce and quality control inks to ensure inks meet or exceed the customer’s specifications. Perform color matching and formulation. Maintain detailed production and QC records. Support customer’s schedule through production coordination.
What You Will Do
Identify and execute at a high level any rework opportunities based on review of batch tickets. Provide strong press side technical service, troubleshoot problems, and provide detailed and consistent technical reporting. Maintain monthly and weekly reporting to CTS and Sales organization. Maintain housekeeping and safe operations.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This is a customer-facing position that requires a high degree of interpersonal skill. Must be able to lift up to 50 lb. buckets; and move 500 lb. drums following operating procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook; as well as dispensing and color match software
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs. throughout the day
- 3+ years industry experience
