Job Description
We are looking for an Ink Technician to join our team at SPR Packaging. As an Ink Technician, you will perform technical tasks related to daily ink room management and operation in a Flexographic printing facility. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and be able to build/maintain good interdepartmental relationships.

Requirements

  • Experience working with solvent ink
  • Color matching ability and knowledge of inks and substrates
  • Experience with Flexographic printing
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, communications skills, and demonstrated initiative in problem solving/troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of basic computer operating
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand up to 12 hours
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
