Role OverviewThe Innovation and IT Project Manager oversees the day-to-day IT operations and IT improvement projects, collaborating with the executive team to foster a culture of innovation. The role involves managing IT consulting services, developing and implementing a five-year IT Plan, and coordinating security assessments and enhancements.
What You Will Do
The Innovation and IT Project Manager will lead the Village's transition to the GIS Consortium, oversee the continual services provided by the GIS Consortium, and manage the IT portion of the annual budget.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of increasingly responsible information technology or project management experience, with a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in information technology, computer science, business, public administration, or closely related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of increasingly responsible information technology or project management experience.
- Knowledge of computers, hardware, software applications, and network infrastructure.
- Knowledge of ERP system(s), Microsoft 365, GIS, and SCADA and ability to learn new software systems.
- Possession and maintenance of a valid Illinois drivers' license.
