Role OverviewThe Innovation Program Lead will work with the Resource Recovery Division to research and implement new innovations in waste management policies and programs. This role will involve analyzing data, preparing reports, and presenting findings to support the City's sustainability goals.
What You Will Do
The successful candidate will research waste management policies, prepare documentation and analyses, manage research studies, and provide updates on local and federal policies. They will also participate in the implementation of the City's Solid Waste Management Plan.

Requirements
- Master's degree in physical, biological, or environmental science or public health
- Doctorate degree in physical, biological, environmental, or social science with 1 year of experience in a supervisory or research capacity
- 3 years of responsible full-time research experience in the appropriate field of specialization
