Job Description

The Inpatient Medical Coder II is responsible for coding and applying ICD-10-CM and PCS codes to medical records for Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital. The role involves reviewing data, performing analysis, and collaborating with resources to obtain additional documentation. The coder must maintain knowledge of coding rules and regulations and accurately assign diagnoses and procedures.

Requirements

Associate or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred but not required)
A minimum of 5 years of coding experience as a certified medical coder
Inpatient Rehabilitation experience (preferred but not required)
