Role OverviewJoin MiraVista Behavioral Health Center as a Nurse Practitioner to provide treatment to patients who need psychiatric care. The role involves patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plan development, as well as collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
What You Will Do
Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments, diagnose and treat mental health disorders, prescribe medications, and develop individualized treatment plans.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Prior experience in a Psychiatry setting is preferred but not required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner Program
- RN licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner within the state of MA
- MCSR and DEA license
- Prior experience in a Psychiatry setting (preferred but not required)
