Job Description
The role of an Inspector - Water/Wastewater involves overseeing water and wastewater infrastructure improvements, observing construction of pipelines, pump stations, and related systems, and ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications. The successful candidate will serve as the Owner's representative and will be responsible for daily field reporting, tracking contractor's installed quantities, and serving as a liaison between the engineer, contractor, and adjacent residents and businesses.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Civil Engineering related coursework/certifications, associate's degree preferred
  • 5-15 years in the Construction Field or Construction Management/Field Services
  • Background in utilities construction/inspections, including mechanical and piping construction required
  • Previous experience in municipal utility inspections a plus
