Requirements

  • Inspect by visual examination or precision measurement with instruments, jigs, fixtures, templates, patterns, designs, assemblies, installations, materials, finishes, mattings, fittings, sizes, dimensions, layouts, locations, and quality workmanship.
  • Approves acceptable work or rejects all work which fails to meet required standards and recommends corrective action to prevent recurrence.
  • Rechecks when corrective measures have been completed.
  • Operates special kinds of testing instruments and equipment as required.
  • Works from complicated or detailed blueprints, diagrams, engineering orders, etc., to obtain proper specifications.
