Job Description
The NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP) is hiring an Inspector to conduct field enforcement, undercover inspections, and participate in multi-agency enforcement actions. The Inspector will enforce laws and regulations, inspect trade practices, and complete reports on complaints investigated. The role requires excellent customer service skills, administrative duties, and a professional demeanor.

Requirements

  • Four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and four years of full-time experience conducting investigations or inspections for a consumer or worker protection agency
  • Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college
  • Possession of a Motor Vehicle Driver License valid in the State of New York at the time of appointment
