Role OverviewThe Department of Design & Construction is seeking an Inspector to conduct technical inspections of construction, repair, and maintenance projects. The successful candidate will report to an Engineer-In-Charge and/or Resident Engineer and assess the grading, paving, and repaving of streets, connections to house sewers, retaining walls, and the maintenance of water, sewer, and utility manholes.

Why It Might Be a Fit
Applicants must be ACI Concrete Field -Testing and OSHA 10-hour Certified or take the first available DDC-offered training session. A valid motor vehicle driver license valid in the State of New York is also required.
