Job Description
Bowhead is seeking an Installer - Journeyman to join their team in Dahlgren, VA. The Installer will provide physical telecommunications installation support for the Corporate Network Design, Engineering and Installation (DE&I) group.

Requirements

  • Perform fusion splicing and cable terminations using 3M Hot Melts and Corning UniCam Fiber Optic Connectors.
  • Provide assistance in building telecommunication rooms while adhering to applicable standards and specifications.
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting of structured cabling systems.
  • Install, test and label surface or wall mount networking outlets for both types of media (Copper and/or Fiber).
  • Document configuration changes and provide to the Installation Team Lead for incorporation into the Communications Diagrams.
  • Install Cable Support Systems, which include Conduits, Cable Tray and Vertical raceway.
